Introduction

Diver-Office Premium capabilities include:

  • Diver Data - The embedded version of Diver-Office allows you to program Divers, start/stop Divers and download Diver data to your database.
  • Time series visualization - Plot time series data the way you want it using the fully flexible plotting module.
  • Monitoring Well Data Management - Create, modify, and display X, Y location data, borehole lithology and well construction details.
  • Expanded Data Options - Capture a full range of environmental variables affecting groundwater recharge including precipitation, evaporation, and discharge data. Store manual measurements for comparison with Diver time series.

General Features

Based on the scalable Microsoft SQL Server database technology, with backup and restore capabilities, Diver-Office Premium provides a flexible, safe and secure solution for storing Diver monitoring data.

  • Communicate with SWS Diver Dataloggers
  • Display Diver settings and download Diver data directly to the SQL database
  • Start Divers using one of several start methods, including Immediate, Future Start and Smart Future Start
  • Program Divers using various sampling methods including Fixed, Event Based, Averaging, Predefined Pumping Test or User Defined Pumping Test

    Diver Data Management

    • Import Diver data from hand-held field devices such Diver-Pocket and Diver-Mate
    • Import data from MON and DAT files directly into the SQL database

        Installation

        The Getting Started Guide will guide you through the installation process of Diver-Office Premium. It explains how to install and configure MS SQL Server (Express) and how to install a license.

        Demonstration Exercise

        A demonstration exercise has been prepared for learning to work with Diver-Office Premium. The manual for the demonstration exercise is available as a pdf document.

        The data for the demonstration exercise is available in zipped Excel files. The zip file also contains a backup of the database so you will be able to use Diver-Office premium immediately.

        Types of Licenses

        Standalone
        A Standalone license provides one computer with one license to run one SWS program for a limited time. Standalone licenses are “node-locked” meaning that they are only valid for the computer from which the license is requested.

        Network
        A Network license provides your organization with the flexibility to manage and administer multiple time-limited licenses from a central license server in a network environment (LAN). Using the License Manager tool, workstations on the network equipped with SWS software can access and use the available licenses on the license server.

        Supported Operating Systems

        • Windows XP Pro (SP2 or later) 32-Bit
        • Windows XP Pro (SP2) 64-Bit
        • Windows Vista Business, Ultimate or Enterprise, 32-Bit (SP1) and 64-bit.
        • Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate 32-Bit and 64-bit.

        Note: Windows XP Home, Windows Vista/Windows 7 Home Premium, Home Basic or Starter Versions are not supported.

        Hardware

        • Diver-Office Premium requires the following minimum system configuration:
        • Processor: Pentium 4-compatible processor or higher, +1.6 GHz or higher recommended.
        • Hard Disk: 2GB (3GB or more recommended)
        • RAM: 1GB RAM (2GB or more recommended)
        • Networking Hardware: Network Card (required for licensing)

        Software

        Diver-Office Premium requires that the following software be installed on your computer prior to installation:

        • Crystal Reports Runtime (included in the installation package)
        • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
