Ideal for dispersed project teams, HydroManager* is a Web-based information management system that provides secure, centralized access to your water resources data from anywhere in the world.

HydroManager leverages your investment in existing technology; its open standard architecture and flexible design allow integration with almost any other third-party or proprietary databases, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

HydroManager adapts to your existing database structure and supports all USEPA Regional database schemas. Each HydroManager installation is customized by our team of experts to meet your unique needs. Schlumberger Water Services will work with you to fully define your business processes and refine access to existing data repositories to create a custom solution that helps you reduce environmental risk and make more effective business decisions.

Secure user access control and role definitions ensure each user sees only the data pertinent to them and makes finding information as efficient as possible. Reliable security features protect your sensitive project data from undesired access.

HydroManager securely and automatically uploads electronic data deliverables (EDDs) from external data providers such as subcontractors or laboratories. Metadata for each EDD upload is tracked, including the name of the data provider, user login, and date and time of upload. Once in the system, depending upon your needs, the EDD data can be automatically validated and uploaded to the main production datastore, or can be held temporarily in a staging database until a user with appropriate permissions reviews, corrects as needed, and approves the data into the production datastore.

When combined with Hydro GeoAnalyst, which is Schlumberger Water Service’s desktop tool for environmental specialists, HydroManager exposes in real-time the analyses and visualization of borehole logs, queries, and cross-section interpretations produced through Hydro GeoAnalyst over the Internet.

Smart Views summarize all the relevant information for your project(s) in one composite view. Such views typically pull information from any number of disparate systems so you are not required to go to each individual database or system and build that view yourself. Moreover, they allow users to answer critical “what-if” questions regarding their projects.

The use of automated alarms and notifications enables HydroManager to actively monitor project data for defined events and notify interested parties by e-mail or text message when key events are triggered.
